Analysis of D-Reactionrate kTR of Acridine-d9 in Fluorene-d8D2

The D-transfer rate can be evaluated from the temperature dependence of the acridine-d9 T1 lifetime in fluorene-d8D2 for temperatures above 200 K. As in this higher temperature region multiple modes contribute to the reaction rate temperature dependence and the measured data are of less accuracy, the data analysis was performed in terms of a single Arrhenuis behavior kTR(T) = A exp(-E/kT). The fit renders a value for the activation energy E of. 27 kJ/mol [24]. A similar value is also found for the H-transfer data in the high temperature region, whereas the frequency factor A differs substantially [24].
