Reaction scheme.
Following light excitation of acridine to the first excited triplet state T1 by H-transfer from fluorene the radical pair triplet state TRP can be formed. The radical pair quickly reacts back to the educt ground states. If you find this animation too fast, look at the individual pictures, or a static picture with the reaction geometry.
