Low Energy Raman Spectrum of Fluorene at Ambient Pressure
The 127 cm-1 fluorene ag-libration corresponds well with E1 evaluated from the reaction rate. At ambient pressure the 90 cm-1 intramolecular butterfly mode is hidden under the strong line at 96.5 cm-1. It is however, well resolved at higher pressures.
