The plot of the Fluorene Grueneisen parameter versus v² shows a linear behavior for  lattice modes. The 95.5 cm^-1 mode · does not correspond to the phonon behavior. Polarisation data render B₁ symetry for this mode. The normal coordinate analysis of fluorene [55] calculates 95 cm^-1 for the  B₁ butterfly mode.
